Forest work… mycoforestry

Including trees, mushrooms and soil together in forest management leads to an approach that improves upon previous decisions. In this sense, mycoforestry is forestry that aims to build on traditional rules to encourage forest ecosystem resilience while creating optimal conditions for fungal communities. As a result, some edible species of commercial interest within these fungal communities may be favoured by intervention choices in forestry work.
