Culture des champignons sous couvert forestier / ONLY FRENCH

With twenty-three years of experience in mushroom culture, biologist Fernand Miron and technician Anita Royer extend their wealth of knowledge to those wanting to grow mushrooms in their own gardens or nearby forests. Although cultivation on logs has existed for decades, it is possible to farm mushrooms differently, using simplified methods that make this activity accessible to a greater number of people.

An extensive research program was implemented in the spring of 2015 with the collaboration of private woodlands owners in order to improve the efficiency of these farming methods in the wild. This will lead to the publication, in 2019, of an enhanced version outlining the best practices tested in the field.
